Link for OBD2 connector pin out.

I would be better to post this question in the ‘Service and Repair’ section so I’ll move it there after I answer this. What you have there is NOT an OBDII connector but you can get codes from it. The code lookup is on this site, just type in “Honda Codes” to the search box above when you pull the code.
Thanks Eric thats my last option to read error codes,
my intention was to use the OBD2 to read different inputs from the car like O2 sensor, MAF, engine temp, fuel econony, diagnostics etc.
I came across convertor pin e.g. 3 pin to 16 pin for Honda, is it safe to use it & would I be able to use most of above features provided by ELM 327 for my car.

I car has 150000 km driven & I replaced ignition coil, cord set, o2 sensor, still I have issues with pickup, car hesitates after throttle pedal is pressed in all gears.
Last week I discovered that timing always keep on changing in 50 km after setting it & looks like timing belt is loose which was changed at Honda service 15K km ago.
with a OBD2 scanner can give me good information on functioning of different parts which can help me narrow down to problems faster.
