Hallo, I googled and found this forum with this qustion, I have the same problem with Mitsubishi Lancer 1996 since i bought it 5 years ago. Everything great, but when it is hot outside and the car is parked on sun, it is not starting on first crank, but it needs a second or two cranking time. Then it starts at very low RPM for a half a second or second until it raises RPM and runs normal… I was looking at everything, but can´t find what could couse it. Tickling the gas pedal helps. My car has bonnet insulation removed, so probably there is too much heat under it and ECU thinks it is hot altrought it is cold? Let me know if you figured what was cousing your problem. Thanks a lot 🙂 (Sorry for bad English, I´m from Slovakia)
