I was able to turn it by hand without extreme force. I’m guessing if a valve was open then I would have encountered significant resistance, yes? Is it possible or likely that if rotating the crank by hand and a piston contacted and open valve, with the timing belt off, would the valve be able to move the rocker arm or cam in the opposite rotation of normal engine rotation?
