2006 Nissan Sentra Suspension Clunk

I didn’t exactly say it was the engine mounts but that is defiantly something to check if you’ve exhausted everything else. If memory serves those cars had issues with upper strut bearings going bad causing a noise similar to what you describe, if your mechanic has access to a chassis ear you might want to use it to confirm this. Don’t forget to check the suspension bushings as well as for areas that show orange dust which could indicate loose parts.
