One thing I specifically remember about the drive by wire Hondas is that the system is designed for emissions purposes. So, say, you start the car up and floor it on a cold start, the PCM won’t give you more fuel then the car can burn. But if you are due for a tuneup and the o2 sensors are seeing a rich condition because the plugs won’t burn all the fuel thrown in there, then the PCM will remove fuel, and you will get less pep. Sounds like you have access to scan equipment. I’d be interested in what your LTFT looks like. Probably negative.
