On top of Eric’s suggestion, I would contact the manufacturer’s corporate office. I had an instructor that was a former Toyota District Rep, and he was NOT kind to issues such as these, especially when it came to warranty work. The farther you work up the ladder, the better. I myself am normally terrible at dealing with people over the phone, especially when I feel I’m getting jobbed, but as I have gotten older, I have found that respecting the customer service rep and asking to speak to their boss politely and on up has been much more effective than my old style when I was a kid full of whisky and testosterone… “Give me your address, and we’ll work this out in person” for instance is not the way to go… I hate cell phones..
