You’ll need to bar the engine over so #1 cylinder is TDC.
Next you’ll need to goggle a diagram of your distributor that shows the firing positions.
Now depending if it is a notched type (which will drop straight in ) or helical style ( you’ll need to rotate before or after the number 1 fire point to have it line up correctly when you seat the distributor)
