Hello there, sorry to ask this question have you ever figured out this issue with the fluid level? I have the same car 2005 CRV AWD ( just did a drain and fill and 4 qts came out) but I can’t figure out what is the right way to check the fluid level, im having the same issue as you, within 60 seconds fluid does not show on dio stick 🤔. Funny thing is I also have a 2006 Honda Element and I do the same procedure to check the fluid level and within 60 seconds the level shows at full mark, and only took 3.1 quarts on the element, very confusing.
