I sort of doubt that it is a fuel pressure issue because the pressure is at its highest before the engine starts. When the fuel pressure is low it will usually be hard to start. It could be a fuel delivery issue as in a clogged fuel filter or injector though. When the engine needs more fuel than the filter will let through it will cause issues. The same can happen with the injectors so I think my first step would be to run a good fuel system cleaner through it to see if it helps. If there are no check engine lights on it is probably not a sensor or electronic part. Good luck and I hope this helps.
