I think that one MIGHT be old enough to have a vacuum modulator but I’m not sure. Look on the back of the transmission for a vacuum actuator with a vacuum line from the engine going to it. If you find one remove the vacuum line and check for fluid in the line, if you see any replace the modulator. Otherwise pull any codes as suggested, check the fluid level and condition, if all of that is good then you’re probably going to have to replace or have the transmission overhauled.
