Thanks for the suggestion Eric. What i ended up doing is running a new fused power wire from the cigarette lighter, and a new switch wire from a difference source in some random cable that supplies 12v when the key is turned, radio still doesn’t turn on but the speakers make a crackling whine, so im assuming the radio is toast, im just going to get an adapter and throw an aftermarket deck in there 🙂
