No benefit from all the reading I’ve done to changing super-early so long as you’re using a decent filter. If it’s synthetic and it states it’s good to 7500, I’d do it at that, or just a bit before. And if I was super-concerned by it, I’d do as nickwarmer suggests and just have it tested, the kits are relatively cheap if you’re in doubt. Get not only a good idea how well the oil is doing/will do, but the health of the engine overall as well.
