Got the new good thermostat for it in the basement just need the gasket for it now. I was hoping to reuse the old gasket but there was no thermostat or gasket when I removed the thermostat housing. Wonder what else I’ll find after I replace it? I think I should have looked a lot closer before I made my offer to the guy when I bought it a couple weeks ago. Oh well! C’est la vie!
