Help full website. College Man posted it in repose to a question I posted yesterday (9/9/15.)
I would like to make a few recommendations for those who work on the first generation LHS.
From my understanding The steering is the same on the LH platform, but always check to be sure. What I did was.
1. removed the air tube from plastic intake plenum, and air box.
2. On the 3.5L removed the plastic plenum has dual throttle bodies. And uses plastic ratchet clamps. I just used a pocket screwdriver and pried genitally.
3. removed the PVC hose, IAC hose, and remove the hose between the Valve Cover and plastic plenum..
4. mostly same as the post above. Might be no shock tower brace.
Just watch out for the wires, and the metal full lines and Vacuum hoses. And install is the Reverse of removal.
Best of luck.
Those who maybe wondering, mine was already replaced once before, OEM from my understanding is a one piece, The on there was a 3 split bushing and metal spacer. The back one on the left side was gone and front part was chewed up. Right side was fine.
