I got a 1997 Honda LX in an estate sale. 35,000 miles. Garaged entire time. Mint condition. Replacing the timing belt. Should I also replace the water pump? Thanks.

Yes to the water pump
Being the age of the vehicle
Here are some other items you might want to inspect / replace:
Belts
Hoses
Coolant system flush
Heater core flush
Transmission fluid and filter
Brake fluid
Fuel filter
Wipers
Tires ( if they are original)
Power steering fluid
Plugs and wires
Completely inspect brakes, all rubber seals on the brakes system
Shocks, ball joints etc.
State of charge of the AC (if so equipped)
