Confused can someone help.

I believe you’ll be able to set everything back up when you reassemble. You might want to recheck your marks to make sure you’re reading them correctly. Also, the crank will go 2 revolutions for every turn of the cam. This might explain why the oil pump is off. One more rotation my put it where it needs to be.

Lastly, that’s a lot of parts, are you trying to solve an issue, or are you just having fun with it? 🙂

I bought the car to keep but once I got it home it started over heating. I changed the thermostat and primed the engine, but it still over heated. so I though I had a head gasket or water pump issue. I did find a plastic impeller water pump.So I decided to replace everything.2001 sebring convertible 2.7 . my issue is the timing mark on oil pump..and the four cam timingpositions … 60 degrees ATDC. and Piston TDC. is where I’m confused.

I tried to upload some photos this is my second attempt. The New Chain has marked links that correspond to the crank and cams. I used a sharpie to accent the marked links.
