secondary air injection system malfunction i check the air pump and its running when the first start up and its automatically turn off when engine warms up which is supposed to happen in normal operation and to be sure if it throwing air to the engine i also check air if there is a air passing through before the check valve in front of the engine it trow a adequate amount of air i am not sure what supposed the pressure was but after the valves hook up and check for air pressure it decrease the amount of pressure passing through so i suspected that the check valve are already damage causing a restriction on air flow,i was gona

Dont forget to check your fuses.
I believe there was a TSB for some of these P0410 due to water getting inside the diverter valves.
The easiest way of diagnosing these is with a bi-directional scan tool You can operate the pump when the engine is warm and watch the o2 sensor values.
You could also remove the hose going to the exhaust and see if there is air coming from the pump on a cold start up.
I believe the secondary pump lives on the front left in the fender well . to get to it I think the wheel and plastic inner fender has to come off.
I think theres a filter on the intake hose that might be dirty.you can either try to clean it or replace it. I would then reset the codes and see if any of them return. good luck and keep us posted. C8-)+1 on Dreamers post to confirm the flow, YOU may feel the flow but it might not be enough because of a restriction as you suspect. Keep us posted on your progress.
sorry if i confuse u a little guys on my description but as i say i already knew that the air pump was throwing air for sure but the i am not sure if blowing the correct amount of air to the engine also i already check the filter and try to clean it but i dont think so its the issue…like i said on my description i suspect the check valve it just i havent incounter a problem like this so i am not sure..you guys think i should replace that check valve
can you disconnect the check valve before the check valve to check flow? then reconnect the check valve. then disconnect the check valve after
the the check and see if flow remains the same. also if you can pull it out to inspect it. see if it opens easy one way and seals the other way.
good luck and keep us posted. C8-)it flows air but not that high without the check valve…what happen was i check the air flow without the check valve and seems strong air goes through it but after installed the check valve it flow air but not much with the valve..
when you had the check off did you inspect it? its either a ball check or spring loaded. if the air was good with out it and bad with it than sounds like the check is the restriction. I would have liked for you to blow through it both ways to seal and flow side.
You might try a google search on this problem to see if there are any TSB’s concerning this issue, in fact I just did it for you and there is a TSB on this problem.
