      When clutch is depressed there is a grinding noise let clutch out noise stops. Same noise when in reverse backing up slowly.

        With the limited information given ….
        Could be a worn / damaged clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, clutch fork, pilot bearing or any combination of them.
