I’ve broken a couple of those clips. I’ve reinserted the clip and it has worked fine, but I’ve never broke one in half for instance. You’re use use of a zip tie is actually pretty smart. As long as there are no leaks, I wouldn’t sweat it. But the answer is, go to the Ford dealer. If you broke it, they’ve probably broken thousands of them. I would imagine they keep plenty on hand.
Not ones that fit. And dealer says you have to buy the whole fuel line. Theres alot of complaint online about the ford fuel clip and the availability. But im gonna call a different dealer. The one closest is a little sketchy.
yeah, you would think the new filter would have new clips.
And having the buy the whole fuel line is BS..i just did the filter on one the other day and it came with extra clips, but i just used the old ones. i don’t even know if i kept them or i’d send em to you!
Doorman Products makes them – you should be able to pick them up at any parts store that carries their stuff (AZ, Advance, etc.).
