I have a 2017 RAM with a stripped bolt on my upper ball joint. It is the type where you have to use 2 wrenches to remove the nut and the dang nut is stripped so bad I can’t even get visegrips to hold onto it. It has lock tight on it I can see this because the nut is almost all the way off.

Well thanx for all the help! Glad I took the time join. I cut the damn ball joint off!
I joined on Halloween so just now reading this. i used a nut buster on a stripped nut. It fractures the nut off from the side. Before I read your solution, i thought cut that dang thing off. Glad you got passed your problem!
You wanted a response at 3am! Lol, luckily it got resolved.
