Ok, been bumping my HP up about 2 HP at a time.
Now the car is getting peppy

So if I jack rabbit start from 0, when I hit 2nd gear, I hear something that sounds like peeling out for about a second.
At first I thought that’s what is was.

Under normal driving conditions how does the clutch feel ? do you notice any slipping ? how many miles on the clutch ? I would check the tension and condition of all your belts. how ” bad ” is the lower d-side mount? just worn , broken ? if you shift to other gears at higher rpms do you hear the noise ?

Under normal condition, clutch feels fine.
            Have not noticed any slipping.
            153k miles on the car.
            Only hear it in second.
It is hard for me to see the bad engine mount. So I am not sure how bad it is.

I have notice that if I accelerate while in gear, I can see the shifter move about an inch. Just figure that is a Honda thing. Not sure if that is normal.

Nope not normal it means either your shift linkage bushings are worn or you have a worn engine mount as suggested. Try ‘rocking’ the car forward and back while it’s in gear and the engine is off as you watch the engine and it’s mounts, once you get it moving you’ll be able to see the engine move, if you see excessive movement check the mounts for cracks or damage. Obviously leave the parking brake off.

If the mounts are OK then check the shift rod going into the transmission just above the exhaust, move it around with your hand, there should be NO play in those bushings if you find any replace the rod. Unfortunately this means dropping the exhaust and the heat shield but it should clear the problem up.
