I am rebuilding a 350 and switching from tbi to carb. I KNOW… anyways, I`m wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a transmission, since the 4L80E would be rendered useless. My truck is a 1995 GMC 2500 Sierra SLE ext. cab 4×4. I was thinking 700R4. This is NOT a high performance rebuild, although I have upgraded to a roller cam. Or, I WILL be. (everything is still in the machine shop) Please be kind… I`m new to this forum, and this is my first rebuild. Besides, I`m Canadian.
