    Hello there I have a 4.3 MerCruiser in my boat I was having problems with my distributor I replaced it hooked up a timing light to it and the timming lines line up at idle and dead center of the timming marks runs good at that but when I go out and 3500 rpm it starts to back fire out of the intake just wondering what would be my problem
