I purchased aftermarket Front struts with springs for our 02 Honda Ody. I noticed there is an angle on the bearing plate. To my understanding, the high side of the plate go towards the engine when the strut is in the install orientation. Is that correct? The 2 struts I bought, the high side faces the tire side on one of them.
If the high side on the bearing plate must face the engine side can I just use a spring compressor to compress the spring enough to move the bearing plate to the proper orientation?
