I have a 2007 Odyssey that has a constant rattle, no matter if your driving or just sitting in park at idle. The rattle stops briefly upon acceleration, or completely if you place your hand on top of the engine and press slightly down or back. For this reason, I don’t believe that it’s a loose heat shield. Would a bad rear motor mount do this? Just looking for possibilities on what to check/look for. Than You all in advance.

Possibly the motor mount, but I’d be looking at heat shields first. More info on finding the cause of noises here: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/faq/diagnosing-noises-in-your-car
