Battery light comes on below 2000 rpm

2003 Honda Civic. 1 year old alternator and battery light started flickering on highway. Changed the alternator and the flickering stopped, but now the light comes on and stays on at engine speed below 2000 rpm. Have researched a lot and found that some people have posted similar problems on various boards but nobody have found an answer. Any thoughts/ideas are appreciated.

The only aftermarket alternators I will use for Hondas are Denso. Otherwise, you might have the exact issue you describe. It’s a very common issue apparently.
