The great youtube video was educational! Thank you. The common problem of the alarm going off in Saabs is well known, yes. Can I just remove it? I do not need an alarm so, would like to get rid of it . Is this possible?

From what I have read. you have some options. Repair or replace the siren box. take it to a shop with a Tech-2 scan tool
and have the alarm turned off. You can just unplug the siren module under the fender, but you will keep getting a message
on the dash that you can clear. you will also lose the lock and unlock feature from your remote. key will work. I would take to
someone with a tech 2 scan tool and have it disabled that way.
