Hey everyone,
I have a 1995 Acura Integra LS Non-VTEC with around 128k miles. I had a cracked valve replaced about 3 months ago and removed/reinstalled the entire engine to replace/clean some parts (remove rust, oil pump, water pump, all gaskets). Since then, it hasn’t been starting up normally. When the car sits for at least 6 hours or when the engine is cold, the engine will crank and sometimes start with or without pressing on the gas pedal. Once it starts, the engine will stall about 3 seconds after unless I press on the gas pedal. Once the engine is at warm/operating temperrature, it runs fine. I’ve looked through the troubleshoot chart in the service manual i’ve tested/adjusted/replaced the parts that may have been causing the problem according to the manual. Idle Air Control Valve, Fast Idle Thermo Valve, Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, Intake Air Temperature Sensor, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Distributor rotor, ignition coil, spark plug wires, spark plugs, fuel filter. And there are no codes that show up. Its a bother to rev my car until its warm every morning. I start school in about a month and i need this fixed as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for reading, any suggestions will help.
Thanks,
Jimmy
