      Hi Ericthecarguy.com,

      Can I carry out the compression test procedures when the rocker cover/valve cover and the oil pan had been removed? (Just to turn the engine a few rotations without engine oil?)

        Not the optimum way to do it but it shouldn’t cause any harm providing you don’t let the engine actually start.
