If you have a misfire, you should have a check engine light. Do you? Before you throw anymore parts at it, you need to verify that there is a problem. If you are sure of a misfire, try a power balance test. After you find the bad cylinder, see if you can swap wires and if the misfire moves with the wire. If it does, you’ve found your problem. If not, you would be looking farther back at the distributor or coil pack, etc.

        Eric’s power balance test video:

Good luck, and welcome to the forums.

I would watch the linked video to see if you can isolate which cylinder is misfiring.

So you haven’t done the power balance test? You just know there is a misfire?

You might also check for voltage and vacuum leaks, here are links to those videos.

I am a Ford Windstar owner. My car is intermittently running rough and misfiring. The problem is worse after the engine is warmed up but can occur at any time. I have replaced the spark plugs twice, the ignition coil and ignition wires, and I have had a mechanic do a tune-up. The spark plug wires seem to be in good condition. I replaced them because the original mechanic said that they were worn out. My mechanic now says that it is not getting enough fuel, but he does not know why. Now I will visit https://theglammomstyle.com/ website in order to find the best writer to complete my papers on time.
