I have a 2004 Honda civic exand the cooling fans are not coming on. I used the paperclip in the fan switch plug trick and radiator and condenser fans came on. I went to auto zone and bought a fan switch and plugged it in and the fans don’t come on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Timothy

I may be mistaken but isn’t the primary fan triggered by the coolant temp sensor.
    Might look there.
May also want to check the fan relays if so equipped.

Dumb question, but are you sure the motor is hot enough to kick on the fans? They don’t always run, and usually just kick on for a minute or so then back off again. Is your car running hot? If it is not running hot, and they are not kicking on, they might not need to be on.
