I’m seeking suggestions for a loose bolt at cylinder 2 on the aluminum block of a 2006 Honda Element. The bolt in question locks down into the block holding the tubular coil onto the spark-plug. Shop that last worked on it left it loose, and I’ve since discovered that they stripped it. Now that the bolt won’t “grab” – car keeps throwing a code for “misfire on cylinder 2”.
Am I totally screwed – or is there a fix for this issue? All suggestions are welcomed! (Yes, I already know to find a different repair shop! Eric & Ohio are just too far away from Colorado!)

There is a fix for this situation but I am afraid your cylinder head must come off for it to work. You can look for Cylinder head Bolt Repair Kit online. Kit from Timesert is good.
