I recently had a 98 Honda Accord Special Addition as a derby car a few years back and after the derby it still started, ran and drove, but in under a year of sitting it locked itself in park and I couldn’t figure out how to get her to disengage from park so sadly I ended up scrapping her, but I figured that if mine did this from sitting maybe others may have the same issue. So hopefully you can create a video talking about what happens or happened when a honda sits and gets this issue. It’s been on my mind ever since it happened. Yes I did try the flat head screw driver in the override slot to by pass the locking mechanism, but it still didnt move out of park. Love the videos. Keep them coming

Thanks for the request. Although I can’t say exactly what happened to your vehicle, I believe these 2 videos cover the topic.

The shift cable on the Pilot was damaged and could cause the issue you mentioned.

Thank you again for the suggestion.
