Hi all, I replaced the upper control arms on our 1995 Honda Odyssey last weekend. I’ve done this job before but one difference this time with the parts I used was that the bolts that go through the bushings were loose. As per the instructions in the manual, I waited until the weight of the van was on its wheels before tightening them but I couldn’t find any info on how tight to make them. I went until they felt like they were as tight as I could get them using just simple box-end wrenches.
Are they supposed to be pretty tight or should the control arms be able to pivot around the bushing bolt?
Thanks,
Greg
