1995 Honda Accord VTEC 2.2
Current Problem: Engine starts and runs, but so poorly that there is not enough power to get out of driveway. “Seems” like timing is way off, but the engine is running.
Initial issue: Heater Hose, the connection under distributor cap, burst.
Repair included removing a couple of vacuum lines connected to intake tube (ie port), removing distributor cap and body (2 12mm bolts). Disconnecting of to connectors running to distributor cap and then reconnecting during build up. Replacement of the hose and replacement of the lower radiator hose.
Checked and re-checked vacuum hoses which were disturbed during repair. Have not re-checked distributor body because it seemed like there was only one way to connect to cam and the engine does run somewhat.
Before repair, engine seemed fine. Now, barely runs.
What is your guess on what I did wrong?
Is there some timing adjustment that I failed to notice which now needs adjusted?
