Humming noise

I have a 2010 Ford Flex. It’s been making a humming noise with a slight vibration I can feel on the floor at around 45mph and up. The humming pattern lasts exactly 3 seconds and stops for 1 second. When I let off the gas and slow down it stops. Just had all tires replaced. It does need an alignment.Everything I read says wheel bearings but nothing mentioned that specific humming pattern. Just wanted to see if it could be something else.

Assuming you did not have any issues prior to replacing the tires.
My first thought is to first make sure the tires are balanced correctly and get the front end aligned before any other action is taken.
        FYI …
Your original tires would have worn in to the alignment over time.

It was humming before the tire replacement. I was hoping it was the cause because they were badly worn. But no change. I’ve needed an alignment for around a year now but the humming just started around two weeks ago

            Hmmm …
That makes a world of difference then.
My suggestion would be to lift the vehicle, spin each wheel, listen for bearing noise and check for any play.

Dose the sound change when turning?
