MODE MOTOR

98 honda civic dx i think the mode motor went bad but not to sure on how to test it? none of the selector switch do anything when i push them its stuck on defrost

It does a little, but it doesn’t show how to test mode motor itself or the wires going to it. its most likely the motor, but i want to be sure before buying it cause it’s not a cheap part…

Unplug the motor and test for power. If power is seen and no movement then motor is
suspect. Also check that the linkage/door moves freely. If power is not seen prolblem
somewhere else. I would suggest a wiring diagram if power is not seen.
