2009 traverse,59k miles, p0009 dtc.
Tried flashing pcm with updated cam timing tolerence (per tsb) and the code came right back. The chain seems tight, cam reluctor position looks like it could be a hair off. I’m thinking that right side secondary timing chain stretched. I’ve never done a timing chain on one of these and I don’t have the cam locking tool. I’ll get the tool if I need to.
Is there anything else I should check before condemning the chain?
