Hello. I am fixing my 02 accord that got into a wreck. I bought a front bumper cover, hood, left fender and a few other bits from rock auto. It appears there is a matte black coating on them. I also bought a few cans of color coded premixed paint from auto zone (in aerosol can form). The hood and fender are metal, but bumper cover is plastic and quite curvy.

So how should I tackle this? Do I need to prime it with a proper primer and then 2 coat it?, or do I need to sand it with high grit sand paper? How many coats should be applied? Do I need a clear coat on top?

It’s a gold sedan btw. It has super low miles, so I was hoping to make it look decent and do it proper so it lasts a long time.

Also: Do any of you know if there is a guy who does body work/welding on the side in southern ohio? Preferably north Cincinnati area. I need a radiator support welded in 🙁
      thx
