Changing my power steering pump pressure line, and noticed the line going into the pump itself is cross threaded. I just watched your video about inserting new threads. Would this be something you’d recommend doing, or would you just put a new pump on? Thanks for your help

If it has a flared seat on the line I wouldn’t bother with a thread insert. However if it’s an o-ring seal as long as its straight and snuggled up it should still seal fine.

It’s got the rubber o-ring. It’s not 100% straight tho. The hose has been leaking for awhile. I did a temp fix, but had been getting worse. I’m assuming the pump might be bad either way. It’s ran dry a time or two. I’ve never changed a psp, but I did buy a rebuild kit for it. Not sure if that would fix a bad pump, or not tho. I guess I’ll see how it goes, and go from there. Thanks for your advice.
