When flushing my radiator do I have to change the thermostat also? I’ve seen articles that say you have to. I would prefer not to have to.

In my opinion flushing radiators is not necessary unless there is an issue with coolant contamination. A drain and refill of the system with the correct coolant at the manufacturer recommended interval is all that should be necessary.
