I’ve been trying to solve a problem with the AC system on my 2005 Toyota Sienna. Through the course of troubleshooting by myself and others (this forum) and it looks like we may have found an issue. It was suggested that the problem might be with the climate control head unit. After replacing the unit with a good used one we realized that when the wiring harness was plugged in the power was intermittent. When you moved the plug, the clock and seat belt warning light would come on and off. It seems as if the male contacts inside the male plug are losing contact. Is there any way to fix this, beside cutting and splicing a new 25 wire plug!?

Depending on the connector pins you have, sometimes the male pins have slots
in them that can be spread a little with a small screw driver so when fit into the female
        pin they are tight again.
