Hi Eric,
I am replacing a steering rack on a ’97 Honda CRV AWD. Everything came apart nicely with the exception of one of the bolts on the clamp that secures the rack on the passenger side. I believe the welded nut on the inside of the frame came loose and is spinning. The frame encircles the entire bolt and is totally inaccessible. Do you have any ideas on what I might try to remove this? I’ve tried adding downward force with a screwdriver wedged between the frame and clamp, with no luck. My only other thought is to cut the bolt off and use a sheet metal screw to secure it. Thanks for any help.
Tom
