    Hello

Im doing timing belt on my 2015 mitsubishi pajero . I noticed the valve cover gasket is leaking and bolts were loose .To reach valve cover bolts I have to remove the intake manifold which takes long time . Can I use Permatex blue threadlocker ?

Honestly, I have never used threadlock on valve cover bolts. As long as they are torqued to spec, it shouldn’t come loose. Do you think someone else worked on it previously that they didn’t torque the bolts properly?

the valve cover was never ooen before , actually yesterday I torqued the bolts to 40 in-Ib ( in the manual it is recommended to be 31±4 , but the lowest torque I can using my torque wrench is 40 )but today I found some of the bolts are loose !

In that case, you can try blue threadlocker.
