My neighbour was helping me install CV axles on my 18 civic. He made the mistake of accidentally hitting the case with a chisel but there are no leaks to speak of. I filled it in with cold weld just to make sure on the passenger Images. The other side also looks like it has micro cracks, and lines from casting and no chisel marks gouging it

Should I be worried about it leaking or cracking more in the future?

    Here are some photos

Those look like foundry flaws nothing that you should be worried about.

Would those tiny cracks in the casting get bigger overtime?

    I shouldn’t think so.
