    Hello There,

I raised this station wagon vehicle and while I was testing the engine fuel system, I put it in gear and pressed the gas pedal. Only the passenger rear wheel was spinning! Any idea what the problem might be? Could it be a bad driver rear axle? Or the differential itself needs replacement? Or was it just low on gear oil? Could this affect the transmission? The vehicle takes some time to accelerate. Any videos on differential replacements? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

    Regards,
    Honda95

      That’s how open differentials work.

Thank you for your comment. Does this mean that this behavior is normal and that I shouldn’t worry about any axle coming off or any transmission failure due to only one wheel spinning? I will appreciate your prompt reply.
