My girlfriends 2003 civic sometimes gets slightly hotter than normal. It reads slightly above half when sitting in traffic or creeping along. I replaced the radiator a few months ago due to a sudden overheating problem caused by a pinhole leak in the radiator. I bled the system and it’s been fine since then. I’ve never had a car with an electric fan and it’s been my impression that cars equipped with an e-fan regulate their temperature well. Should I pressure test the system again or is this a cause for concern?

Pressure testing is for leaks. If coolant is staying full, likely culprits are thermostat, water pump, and cheap radiator.
