Hi Everyone! Hoping that someone here can maybe offer some insight as to why my Element's FM Radio reception is so garbage. So, the Element can get stations about 40 miles away at best, while my old Ford F150 can pick up stations around 70 miles away. I went and put on the AntennaX 17" antenna, which helped the Element a little. I then borrowed an antenna from a Chevy Astro with great reception, made an adapter out of a metric bolt and tried that. It works a little better, but still isn't that great. Is there anything I can do to the Element itself to insure better reception?

My head unit is an aftermarket Pioneer setup with Bluetooth calling and a small kicker amp and sub; head unit works and sounds great, but the FM is just crap.

If after trying different antennas you did get any real improvement.
It might be the radio itself.
