I found this car in New York and picked it up pretty cheap. The only rust is a bit of surface rust here and there. I found out that it had been sitting in a garage for 33 years! It was well stored, they drained the gas tank and everything was done correctly. When I started this project, it only took about 30 minutes to get the carbs cleaned and get it started. I have been doing small things to it here and there and there is not a whole lot more to do to it. I am considering getting the trim rechromed and I want to paint it. I am very happy to have found it!

The ’64s were without question the best of the Earlies. They had the transverse camber compensator in the back and a standard anti-roll bar in front. Personally I’ve got a ’66 Monza 4 door hardtop, Artesian Turquoise, which is a great driver. Enjoy your car, Vairs rule!!!
