hi eric i am a new subscriber to your youtube channel and what not. and as i might add appreciate all the videos thank you from all your dyi ‘ers.

i’m not a mechanic by trade but have been around cars and what not my whole life i know pretty well of how to go about fixing your everyday things or what have you.

anyway i have a 2002 hyundai santa fe 2.7 v6 it started to hesitate and jerk when driving and the check engine light would come on then it would go away it started about a month and a half ago now of course it’s real bad check engine light finally stayed on so i went and had it scanned it through 9 different codes all having to do with misfires so i did a full tune up pcv valve oil change spark plugs wires and coil pack. cleaned the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body… had it scanned again after and it came down to 3 different codes 2 cylinder misfires and random… i checked the fuel injectors they are firing off fine checked the fuel pressure regulator it seems to be okay and now i am just at a loss I took it to a mechanic and he did just a quick diagnosis and went off also what i told him what i’ve done and he can’t think of what it could be the gasket is fine when you pull up the intake plenum fuel pump is fine i even replaced it I’m really on a budget so i’m really looking for a direction to be pointed in. if any ideas i’d greatly appreciate it. thank you
